According to this plan a young team of ten, most likely to be lead by the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajay Maken, will lead charge against the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi.

The Congress plans to effectively engage with the young generation and will use the social media to enhance its communication. President Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmishta Mukherjee will take charge as the Delhi unit's chief spokesperson and be in-charge of the DPCC communication department, the report says.

The new team will have members from NSUI, Youth Congress and from among young councillors. The members will be designated as 'shadow department heads' and their job will be to keep a tab on government departments and follow decisions and actions to create a data base so as to take on the AAP.

The report says that the new plan is made by the senior leadership taking into consideration the increased number of young electorate in the country and the lack of organisation at grass-root level.
