"The move at the behest of the Union Home Minister to form a BJP Government in Delhi is unconstitutional," DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma said.

Sharma also alleged that "the manner in which the BJP, despite not having a clear majority, making efforts to form Government in Delhi was not only unconstitutional, but was totally against the democratic norms."The Congress leader also claimed that there was no legal provision for secret voting during the Confidence Motion, and BJP was deliberately misleading the media and the people of Delhi about secrete ballots.
