Congress demand CBI probe into Odisha mining scam

 Demanding a CBI probe into the alleged multi-crore mining scam in Odisha, the Youth Congress activists of Cuttack city staged a massive protest rally here today.

Shouting anti-Naveen slogans, hundreds of Youth Congress activists burnt an effigy of the Chief Minister at College Square and claimed that the state exchequer has faced huge  revenue loss due to illegal mining during Naveen Patnaik’s tenure.     The youth leaders maintain that if the Chief Minister is innocent as he is claiming to be, then he should welcome the CBI probe and his government should order for the same to ascertain the facts.     Earlier, hundreds of Youth Congress activists marched from railway station to the College Square meeting place shouting slogans and holding anti-Naveen placards.
