Congress deliberately insulted Dr Ambedkar, BJP on cartoon row
Narayan Kesri said that through the cartoon, Congress had not only insulted the man, who wrote the Indian Constitution, but has insulted the whole country.
BJP on Sunday accused the Congress-led UPA government of "deliberately insulting Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the 'messiah of Dalits'" through a cartoon in NCERT textbook.Senior BJP leader Narayan Kesri, who took part in the dharna held in front of Dr Ambedkar statue at Geeta chowk in Indore, said that through the cartoon, Congress had not only insulted the man, who wrote the Indian Constitution, but has insulted the whole country.The BJP leader said that the cartoon showed the mentality of the Congress towards Dr Ambedkar and added that the party, which was ruling at the Centre, had turned a blind eye to the whole affair.
