Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making a 'u-turn' with regard to Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar"The Prime Minister had earlier referred to the NCP as the Naturally Corrupt Party. However, now he seems to be making a u-turn; [Pawar's] party seems to be not-so corrupt anymore," Digvijay told the media.On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi, while inaugurating the Centre of Excellence for Vegetable Production in the Baramati district of Maharashtra, had referred to Pawar as an 'experienced and helpful leader', thanking the NCP chief for his contribution to the agriculture sector during histenure as Maharashtra chief minister.
