In Raipur, educational institutes, theatres, petrol pumps, shops, commercial establishments remained closed in response to the day-long shutdown call by the main Opposition party.Hospitals, medical shops and examination centres, however, were kept out of the bandh purview, said Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee officials.   Citizens gathered at various places here to pay tributes to the slain security men killed by Naxals in the Mukrana forests of Dantewada district on April 6, they added.
