The Chandrayaan-3 moon landing has been deemed a success after the ISRO Vikram lander made contact with the lunar surface and is set to deploy the Pragran rover, a major feat for India's space research programme.

Now, Chandrayaan-3 has shared its first message from the moon after making a successful landing. In a tweet by ISRO, Chandrayaan-3 said that it has reached its destination, noting a historic feat for the entire country.

Chandrayaan-3 achieved its feat of landing on the moon at exactly 18:04 IST, and is set to go ahead with the moon mission schedule as planned.
