The number of students scoring more then 100 marks is 16,548 in the PCB category. In the PCM category, 22,844 students scored 100 and more.
The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, has declared the results of the 2018 Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) late on Saturday. Kadam Abhijit Uddhavrao topped the Physics Chemistry Biology (PCB) category by scoring 188 out of 200, while Abhang Aditya Subhash secured 195 marks to top the Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) category. Abhang have also stood first in reserved category in PCM. Another student from reserved category who stood first in PCB is Prashant Wayal with score 182 out of 200.
Among girls, Mona Gandhi topped the PCM category with 189 marks and Jahnvi Mokashi topped the PCB catergory with 183 marks. More than 4.19 lakh students appeared for the Maharashtra CET for engineering admission on May 10. Students will get their results on Sunday.
Over 4.35 lakh students registered for the exam and more than 4.19 lakh appeared for the test.
After discrepancies in the maths and chemistry papers, five marks as bonus were given to all students. Around 257 students scored between 176 and 200 in the test in the PCM category and 277 scored between 176 and 200 in PCB category. The number of students scoring more then 100 marks is 16,548 in the PCB category. In the PCM category, 22,844 students scored 100 and more.
