Searches at the residence of a BSNL section supervisor in Bangalore have led to recovery of assets worth Rs1.5 crore, the CBI today said.A case has been registered against Thulasirama and his wife for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to the known sources of income under relevant sections of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act."Searches were conducted at his residential premises at Vijayanagar, Bangalore during which cash of Rs57 lakh; Rs25 lakh in bank account; property documents worth Rs50 lakh (approx); jewellery and other valuables worth Rs14 lakh were recovered," a CBI spokesperson said.
