"The agency which has arrested him must have had some good reasons to do it. Therefore, it is premature to make any comment," the Governor told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here when asked to comment on Bose's arrest.

Bose was arrested yesterday by the CBI for alleged involvement in the multi-crore Saradha ponzi scam.

Bose was arrested "for prima facie involvement in the Saradha realty case and for allegations of criminal conspiracy, misappropriation of funds and deriving undue financial benefit," a CBI spokesman had stated.
