The fast-track court of Palanpur on Wednesday asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to submit a list of the articles it wants custody of in the Tulsi Prajapati fake encounter case.

Earlier, the central probe agency had moved the fast-track court for custody of the articles seized by the state CID when it was investigating the fake encounter case.

Sources in the Palanpur court said that when the case was committed to the sessions court for trial, as a matter of procedure the CID had deposited all the articles in the court's custody.

While hearing the CBI's application on Wednesday, fast-track judge PV Maru asked the probe agency to make a list of the articles it requires in the case. The court observed that the state CID had submitted several articles in the case. It further asked the CBI to submit a list by June 2.

Meanwhile, all the accused policemen who have been booked and chargesheeted by the state CID in the case were present in court on Wednesday. They were also asked to remain present at the next hearing of the case.
