INDIA
Some serious issues were raised.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, among many others, on Friday mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his photo appeared in the company's advertisements. Reliance, through its ads, dedicated the Jio 4G service to the Modi government's flagship 'Digital India' project.

While some important issues were raised, like if it was even legal for the Prime Minister to endorse a product, and whether he could face imprisonment if Jio didn't deliver as promised as per the new draft law, Twitter did not miss the opportunity to poke some fun at it..
If JIO fails to deliver, brand ambassador Modi can be jailed for up to 5 years & face a fine of Rs 50 lakh under a new draft law! @AnkitLal

Can India afford to place further Reliance on this Prime Minister? https://t.co/lSguM6Op4G

Narendra Modi is endorsing Reliance Jio.

Makes sense for the PM to endorse a brand.
Especially for him: since Roaming is free.

Narendra Modi's Pic in Reliance Jio Ad is Tricky debate. Companies can't use PM's Pic for Promotion - but they can use their employee's pic

It will be interesting to watch which TV editor will have guts to run Modi doing endorsement for Reliance today.
— ashutosh (@ashutosh83B) September 2, 2016
So if that celebrity endorsement law passes, you should presumably be able to arrest Modi ji should Jio not live up to its speed claims?

Although, this move by the Reliance Group was not authorised by the Prime Minister's Office, as reported by OpIndia, there was no stopping the Twitter trolls.
