'Can India afford to place further Reliance on this Prime Minister?': Twitter has a field day after PM Modi appears on Jio ad

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, among many others, on Friday mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his photo appeared in the company's advertisements. Reliance, through its ads, dedicated the Jio 4G service to the Modi government's flagship 'Digital India' project.

 While some important issues were raised, like if it was even legal for the Prime Minister to endorse a product, and whether he could face imprisonment if Jio didn't deliver as promised as per the new draft law, Twitter did not miss the opportunity to poke some fun at it..

Makes sense for the PM to endorse a brand.

Although, this move by the Reliance Group was not authorised by the Prime Minister's Office, as reported by OpIndia, there was no stopping the Twitter trolls.
