Security forces today busted two militant hideouts and recovered arms and ammunition from them in Budhal and Kalakote areas of Rajouri district in the state, police said here.
 
On intelligence inputs, police along with Rashtriya Rifle (RR) troops carried out searches in village Kangota in Budhal and at Dalyote forest area of Kalakote in the border district today, they said.
 
The suspected areas were cordoned off and during the search operations the troops noticed natural hideouts of terrorists which were smashed after recovering arms and ammunition from there.
 
Recoveries made from the smashed hideouts include two AK magazines, 60 rounds of AK ammunition, 30 rounds of Pika ammunition, one Chinese grenade, two pouches, one torch, antenna of wireless set, one Chinese pistol, with eight rounds, two anti-mine, one SIM card, one mobile battery, 10 pencil cells, one pitho, one pen drive, dry fruits, cooked food and some medicines made in Pakistan.
 
However, no militant was arrested during the searches in these areas, they said.
