BSP chief Mayawati on Monday asked party-men to reach out to people and apprise them about the "anti-people" policies of Narendra Modi-led central government and Akhilesh Yadav-led Uttar Pradesh government.

Addressing a meeting of her party's state-level office bearers and peoples representatives here, Mayawati asked them to apprise the people with the facts of "misrule and failures" of Modi and Yadav governments, a party release issued here said.

She said that in UP, all sections of the society were fed up of rising crime, communal and caste tensions.

"Only announcements are being made in the name of development and money in huge amount is being spent on its(SP government's) publicity," she said.

Mayawati will soon be holding review meeting of divisional and district level units of the party.
