DHUBRI (Assam): A BSF personnel was on Thursday burnt to death in a fire which broke out at a border outpost along the Indo-Bangla border in Assam's Dhubri district, official sources said.
    
BSF assistant sub-inspector Murarilal Kalia, who was a radio operator, was burnt to death in a fire that broke out in the office of the BSF's 29th battalion Bhagdahar border outpost.
    
According to initial reports, the fire was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
    
Senior BSF officials have rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
    
Kalia hails from Mahendragarh in Haryana.
