Briton tries to enter Gurudwara with shoes, authority faces wrath

A British man on Sunday allegedly tried to enter the Sakchi Gurudwara in Jamshedpur wearing shoes, but was caught by the people there, police said.The foreigner was let off by the Gurudwara managing committee after he apologised.Later the President of Sakchi Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Surjit Singh was roughed up by some people for not taking any action or lodging a complaint against him with police station.Two persons were arrested on the charge of assaulting Singh, police said.
