Class 12 students of CBSE board were left worrying about the outcome of the exam as allegations of the question paper being leaked on WhatsApp were doing the rounds. The topic was also discussed in Parliament, with Union minister Venkaiah Naidu assuring that he would request an intervention by HRD minister Smriti Irani.

But sources assure that there will not be a need for a special measure as the board has a system in place to handle situations like this.

CBSE professor Rama Sharma told dna, that the board has an inbuilt mechanism to take care of any issue concerning question papers. Feedback received from all quarters is seen before finalising marking scheme for each paper. The same will be done in the case of Class XII maths paper.

Students had flooded the CBSE website with comments and posts about the lengthy and exacting exam paper. They also tagged Ms Irani in tweets about the same.

On Wednesday, CBSE had assured students of finding a solution - possibly lenient marking.

Last year too, students had found the MAths paper to be tough.
