The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the Bihar Judicial Services Main examination. BPSC in an official notice released on 18 February 2019 has informed about the exam being postponed. The Commission has postponed the exam due to unavoidable reasons and has not given any reasons. The revised dates for the exam will be updated by the BPSC on their official website bpsc.bih.nic.in

The Bihar Judicial Services Main examinations for 2019 were scheduled to begin from 20 February 2019 till 28 February 2019. The candidates who qualified for the Judicial Services Preliminary Exam are only eligible to sit for the Main examination. BPSC had released the result for the Preliminary Examination on 7 January 2019. 1100 candidates had qualified for the Main examination in 2019. 

The main examination consists of five compulsory papers on General Knowledge including Current Affairs, General Science, General Hindi, General English, and Law of Evidence and Procedure. The candidates are required to appear in all the questions. Apart from these compulsory subject papers candidate also have to appear in three optional papers. The optional papers include subjects on Constitutional and Administrative Law of India, Hindu Law and Muhammadan Law, Law of Transfer of Property and Principles of Equity and Law of Trusts and Specific Relief, Law of Contracts & Torts, and Commercial Law.
