Boy poisoned to death in Uttar Pradesh

A minor boy was allegedly poisoned to death by unidentified persons in Ramlila locality here, police said today.8-year-old Nikul Sharma, son of Gayanander Sharma, was yesterday offered 'prasad' laced with poison by some unidentified persons. After eating it, the boy fell ill and was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.A case has been registered against unknown people in this regard, they said, adding the body of the victim has been sent for postmortem.
