Border Security Forces (BSF) today lodged a "strong protest" against Pakistan for violation of air space by Pakistan choppers along International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector in Jammu.
"We have lodged a strong protest to the Pakistan counterparts through a written dossier delivered to them at their forward post along IB in Abdullian, Chapra and Khatmarian Border Out Posts (BOPs) for air space violation by Pak Choppers yesterday," a BSF official told Press Trust of India.
Three choppers of Pakistan Army intruded into Indian territory and flew over Abdullian area, 200-meters inside IB, last afternoon, he said, adding, the violation has been viewed seriously.
It may be recalled that on July 17 a Pakistani domestic airplane had violated Indian Air Space in the same sector and later claimed that it had occurred due to bad weather conditions.
