KOLKATA: An Air Deccan flight from Port Blair to Kolkata made an emergency landing here a little before noon following a hoax bomb call made at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose  International (NSCBI) airport this morning.

Airport officials said the flight was carrying about 100 passengers. The flight left Port Blair around 0715 hours, however, an anonymous call was received at the airport, saying that a bomb might have been placed on the aircraft.

A full emergency was declared at the airport and all the facilities were made available for safe landing. However, nothing incriminating was found and all the passengers left for their destinations, the officials said.
