Police today recovered the body of a Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami militant from a village in Kishtwar district, a police spokesman said here.

The body of Mohammad Amin Rahi, a terrorist of HuJI was recovered alongwith one pistol from village Dhinwar in Chatroo tehsil of the district, he said.

The deceased was involved in the incident of setting ablaze a bulldozer of a contractor and abduction of its driver Satpal on October 9 at Sigdi village in Chatroo area, he said adding that the terrorist had set free the driver later, reportedly after taking some ransom.

It appears that he was killed by his own associates on the issue of sharing the ransom money, the spokesman added.
