Michelle Michael Swami, a resident of Malvani from P North Malad ward, said that names of  three of her family members- her husband Swami Michael Raju who died 6 years ago, her mother-in-law Swami Sushila Raju who died 4 years ago and her mother Jayashree Gothivarekar who passed away 7 years ago were still on the list.

"We have submitted all the necessary documents for cancellation of their names many times. But the names have still appeared in the list while names of those alive from the locality are not reflected despite them having registered. This is complete mismanagement," said Michelle.

Polling for 10 municipal corporations across Maharashtra, including the all-important Mumbai civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) took place today.
