The state unit of BJP will submit a memorandum to president Pratibha Patil, seeking her intervention on the issue of price rise, later this month."A memorandum signed by people from Uttar Pradesh will be submitted to the president in Delhi on July 29 seeking her intervention to control prices," state BJP spokesperson Hriday Narain Dixit told reporters today.Accusing Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) of the price rise, Dixit said that the party would continue with its campaign on the issue."A signature campaign has been launched and so far 20 lakh people have signed the memorandum," Dixit said.The BJP spokesperson said that the BSP government was equally responsible for the price rise as it was supporting the Congress led-UPA government at the Centre.
