BJP seeks Rs2500 per ton of sugarcane in Puducherry
The party's local unit chief said that rise in cost of cultivation of sugarcane and other allied expenses necessitated the rate of Rs2500 per ton of cane the ryots would supply to mills.
The BJP's Puducherry unit has asked the Congress government in Puducherry to announce in the territorial budget a price Rs2500 a ton of sugarcane.
The party's local unit chief S P K Damodar said in a release today that rise in cost of cultivation of sugarcane and also other allied expenses necessitated the rate of Rs2500 per ton of cane the ryots would supply to mills.
