"Not only BJP, but the people of the state are also ready for the poll now to give a befitting reply to the misrule of the Trinamool Congress government," Sinha told reporters here after a party meeting with senior central and state leaders.

The Assembly elections in the state are scheduled to be held next year.

The party, he said, has already launched a mass awareness campaign throughout the state and is getting positive responses from the people, he said.

The meeting was attended by senior central leader and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and state in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh among others.
