Radhanpur MLA Shankar Chaudhary flaunted the device before Shehra MLA Jetha Bharwad, who sits next to him in the assembly. Both of them got down to watching images on the tablet, with Chaudhary explaining various features of the device to his party colleague. Incidentally, both are seated just below the press gallery in the assembly.

Even as the duo was busy with the tablet, Gujarat BJP president RC Faldu walked into the House and gestured to Chaudhary to sit next to him. Chaudhary got up to join Faldu, leaving his tablet behind.

Bharwad then picked up the device and started examining its features. He checked out several images and also visited a couple of websites. This went on for several minutes, and would have continued but for a chit from Speaker Ganpat Vasava asking Bharwad to keep the tablet aside. Bharwad, who sits on the back benches, was surprised to receive a chit from the Speaker. He looked all shaken up for a minute and sheepishly looked towards the press gallery.

One of the reporters informed the Speaker's office about Bharwad using the tablet in the House, which led to the former sending the chit to him.

Later, the Radhanpur MLA picked up the tablet and showed various images, described as party material, to RC Faldu. However, this was soon followed by the recess. The tablet was not seen in the second sitting.
