The BJP is leading in 17 out of the 18 seats in Gujarat, the trends of which are available so far, while Congress is leading in one seat.

BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is leading in Vadodara by over 70,000 votes, after first few rounds of counting.

The Vadodara constituency, where Modi is pitted against Congress general secretary Madhusudan Mistry, polled 1,07567 votes while his Congress rival has got 29,200 votes so far. The BJP is ahead in almost all the seats, expect Sabarkantha where Congress candidate Shankarsinh Vaghela is ahead by around 2,000 votes.

BJP is leading in Vadodara, Ahmedabad West, Anand, Banaskantha, Bardoli, Chota Udepur, Dahod, Junagadh, Kutch, Mehasana, Navsari, Panchmahals, Porbandar, Rajkot, Surat, Surendranagar and Valsad.
