NEW DELHI: BJP National Office-Bearers on Saturday met to take stock of the party's performance in the recently concluded elections in Uttaranchal, Punjab and
Manipur and latest political situation in these states.

The meeting presided over by BJP President Rajnath Singh was also attended by party seniors Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L K Advani.

Besides assessing the party preparations to face the crucial Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh the leaders will also review the latest political developments, including the detention in Argentina of Ottavio Quattrochi, the Italian businessman wanted in the Bofors payoffs scandal.

This is the first meeting of the BJP office-bearers after the party's National Executive and National Council meeting in Lucknow in January.
