Protesting the arrest of former minister Amit Shah, the state BJP today held a mute rally, where hundreds of party workers marched with black cloth around their mouth, amid heavy rains.Senior leaders of the party including party president RC Faldu and MLAs from the city participated in the rally where there was no slogan shouting against the CBI or the Congress. But the partyworkers carried banners with anti-CBI and anti-Congress slogans.The rally was held immediately after the arrest of Amit Shah by the CBI in connection with the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case of 2005.BJP spokesperson Vijay Rupani said that similar rallies would be taken out tomorrow in cities like Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Junagadh.
