The BJP on Tuesday demanded that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reply on her party's accumulation of alleged disproportionate wealth."Income of the party is not proportionate with its expenditure, while resources from some businessmen is not shown in the account properly in an attempt to convert black money white," state BJP President Rahul Sinha told a press conference."People want to know it and it is the responsibility of the CM to reply on the issue," Sinha said. Quoting a reported notice issued by the CBI to the Trinamool Congress, Sinha said that the Central probe agency should have acted much earlier."The CBI notice is appropriate and justified. The central probe agency should have acted much earlier," he said. "Since the matter relating to income through sales proceed from the CM's paintings has come up, the TMC should furnish a complete list of those who purchased those paintings along with prices of each item," Sinha said. "Donations upto Rs 20,000 could be in cash, but a donation amounting to over Rs 20,000 should be in cheque. I doubt if the TMC is transparent on this issue," he said. Also Read: CPI-M demands CBI interrogation of Mamata Banerjee
