In an open letter to Kejriwal on Facebook yesterday, Garg, an MLA from Rohini had targeted him asking him "not to encourage corrupt and rich people in the party". He had also questioned the party chief for "not taking up the land scam issue of a BJP MP". "If the allegation are true that Arvind Kejriwal and his colleague Ashutosh have all the information about scams in Delhi but he is mum about it then it is a serious matter," Upadhyay said.

"Kejriwal who claims about transparency, morality and purity in politics, must clarify before the people of Delhi about the truth in these allegation," he said. The Delhi BJP chief also said if Garg is lying then Kejriwal must tell why disciplinary action against him is not being taken by the party.

Garg had also questioned Kejriwal about the internal party democracy and on whether the former Chief Delhi Minister should have consulted people on conducting fresh polls in Delhi.
