District BJP chief Satish Khola, addressing the protesters, alleged that the state government is creating disparity in different parts of Haryana as the people living in one part of the state are forced to pay higher toll.

"The motorists have to pay a heftier toll tax (Rs 60 for one side for light vehicle) at the toll plaza near Ganagaicha, while, the toll tax levied on motorists at the toll plaza at Deeghal is less (Rs 25 for one side for light vehicle) on the same highway (Rewari-Jhajjar-Rohtak) in Jhajjar district," he said.

Raising slogans against the state government, protesters staged a demonstration and sit-in and demanded immediate withdrawal of the toll.
