AHMEDABAD: A man suspected of bird flu infection has been admitted to the civil hospital here, hospital sources said.
Qadar Marghiwala, a 32-year-old resident of the Old City area, has been suffering from fever for few days and was admitted to hospital on Saturday here. ''He has been kept in the isolation ward of the hospital,'' the sources added.
His blood samples have been sent to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases, New Delhi, and National Institute of Virology, Pune, for tests, they said.
