Bill to provide voting rights to NRIs a 'Onam gift' for Keralites
A bill to provide voting rights to Indians living abroad was introduced in the Rajya Sabha today by the Union law minister M Veerappa Moily.
Union minister for overseas Indian affairs, Vayalar Ravi, today said that the introduction of the bill to provide voting rights to Indians living abroad was 'Onam gift' to the Kerala people.Ravi said he was very happy to be a part in the process.A bill to provide voting rights to Indians living abroad was introduced in the Rajya Sabha today by the Union law minister M Veerappa Moily.The Onam festival falls on August 23.
