A joint team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Bihar Police has attached the property of fugitive Indian Mujahideen operative Tehseen Akhtar after the deadline for his surrender lapsed on January 9.

The property is located in Maniyarpur Village in Bihar's Samastipur District, and was attached in the presence of Akhtar's father Wasim Akhtar and other family members.

Tahseen is accused in Patna and Bodh Gaya serial blasts. The NIA also announced a reward of Rs.10 lakhs on him.
