It's just a matter of hours now that fate will decide whether Bihar sees a fourth term for incumbent Nitish Kumar or whether the state gets a new chief minister in young Tejashwi Yadav. Meanwhile, the RJD has alleged foul play in as many as eight constituencies by the local administration and decided to move the Election Commission against the administration. A delegation including RJD and Congress leaders is visiting the Election Commission office in Patna to lodge a complaint against alleged poll rigging on the insistence of the ruling NDA.
One of the RJD leaders said, "They first told our candidates they have won by 5-600 votes, but later said you have lost by 12, 13 votes."
As per EC, it is receiving few complaints from Congress and RJD and they are recounting votes.
Counting of votes began at 8 am on Tuesday with all real-time trends and results of elections being made on the Election Commission of India's website.
The ECI has set up 55 counting centres in all the 38 districts of the state, which had voted in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7 to decide the fate of 3,755 candidates.
