Bihar Assembly Election Result 2020: Plurals party chief Pushpam Priya accuses BJP of hacking EVM

Plurals party chief Pushpam Priya Chaudhary has alleged that the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was "hacked" in Bihar, where counting of votes for 243 Vidhan Sabha seats is still going on. The new entrant, who returned to London, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of "rigging" the election. She said that the votes received by the Plurals Party were transferred to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at all booths. Chaudhary contested from two seats - Bankipur in Patna and Bisfi in Madhubani district.

The party's chief ministerial candidate wrote on Twitter, "EVMs are hacked in Bihar. See booth-wise data. Plural votes were stolen. BJP rigged the election. NDA got votes at all booths."

Meanwhile, the Election Commission clarified that EVMs were "strong" and "tamper-proof." "It has been clarified that repeated EVMs are strong and tamper-proof evidence. The Supreme Court has upheld the integrity of EVMs more than once. The EC had also called for an open challenge of hacking EVMs in 2017. Votes less than NOTA

The 28-year-old has suffered a setback as he contested both the assembly seats. On the Bisfi seat, she managed to garner fewer votes than the None of the Above (NOTA) option.

Priya secured just 121 votes after coming third in Bankipur Assembly seat when the report came, while three-time BJP MLA Nitin Naveen led by 2,385 to votes actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha's son Luv Sinha. Who received 1,097 votes. As of now, 3,860 votes have been counted on this seat.

From the Bisfi seat, Pushpam was successful with just 49 votes when the last report came out. BJP candidate Hari Bhushan Thakur led with 5,541 votes from this seat, while RJD MLA Dr. Fayaz Ahmad received 3,383 votes according to the counting trends. Pushpam Priya got fewer votes than NOTA from this seat. According to the current voting results, about 181 votes have been cast as NOTA. At this time, 9,802 votes have been counted on this seat.

Chaudhary promised to turn Bihar into Europe by 2030. Her father Vinod Chaudhary is considered close to JDU national president Nitish Kumar. Her uncle Vinay Choudhary is also contesting Bihar elections.
