Jigme would tie the knot with India-educated commoner Jetsun Pema in Bhutan today and may head to the desert state by this month end for the honeymoon.

Confirming the visit, official sources in Delhi told DNA: “At this point, we can only say that the king and queen would be coming. It would be a state visit.”

A senior official of the general administration department of the Rajasthan government said he has received a communication from the ministry of external affairs inquiring about properties in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur.

Sources said the royal couple is expected to reach Jaipur on October 25 and will stay in Rajasthan for a few days.
