Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal, who is set to become deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, has expressed interest to move to national politics, party general secretary Purno A Sangma said today.

"Bhujbal had said that he had spent over 30 years in state politics and wanted to move to national politics. Whenever he moves to the Centre, we will have to think of a new deputy chief minister," he said.

Sangma said Bhujbal has not given any time frame for his move to national politics.
