Bengal tantrik ties up man, rapes his wife, claims he was helping couple to conceive

Just like many childless Indian couples who still believe in tantriks and babas, this couple also went to an ashram in West Bengal’s Howrah. What happened next would probably become an eye-opener for many.

First, the tantrik tied up the husband and then raped his wife in front of him. Now, the police has arrested Rahmat Ali Sheikh, the tantrik, from his ashram in Jagatballavpur. 

He was arrested by West Bengal police on Monday for raping his client. 

Recounting the horror, the couple told the police that it had visited the accused Rahmat Ali Sheikh's ashram at Bhupatinagar in Howrah on Sunday. However, on the pretext of performing rituals the 42-year-old tantrik let his associates tie the husband to a pillar. 

He then raped the man's wife in front of her husband. After the rape, Sheikh then seized all the valuables and cash they had on them. 

When the couple left the ashram, they filed a complaint against Sheikh and his associates at a police. 

The police then took the woman for a medical-legal test which confirmed that she has been raped. The police said the couple had claimed that they approached the tantrik as they were having difficulties to conceive.

The police then arrested Sheikh from his ashram and a case of illegal confinement and robbery was charged against him. 

When Sheikh was presented in court on Monday, he said that he did not rape the woman but was only ‘helping’ the couple with their problem. He further stated the intercourse was completely consensual and he only meant to help.
