Banned pro-Khalistan organisation threatens to disrupt Delhi-London flights, security tightened at IGI Airport
A senior police official further said that a meeting was held between officials of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Air India, and Delhi International Airport Limited on Wednesday to discuss security arrangements in case the situation goes out of control.

Delhi Police said on Wednesday said that a banned pro-Khalistan outfit has threatened to disrupt two Air India flights which are scheduled to leave for London from Delhi on November 5.
Security has been beefed up at Indira Gandhi airport in view of threats issued by the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).
The SFJ has threatened to boycott Air India flights and also called upon the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots to occupy the airport to "internationalise" the issue.
"We have tightened security arrangements after we received inputs that Sikhs for Justice has threatened to disrupt operations of two Air India flights scheduled for London tomorrow," Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI Airport) Rajeev Ranjan said.

Last month, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at six places involving the hoisting of the Khalistani flag by Sikhs for Justice cadres at the Deputy Commissioner Office of Moga.
An NIA release said that it conducted searches at 6 locations in Ferozpur, Ludhiana, and Moga districts of Punjab in connection with RC-30/2020 / NIA / DLI (Hoisting of Khalistani Flag by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) Cadres at Deputy Commissioner's Office, Moga (Punjab) on the eve of Independence Day, 2020. The miscreants committed this crime who were offered cash rewards at the behest of terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu of SFJ for this heinous act.
NIA informed that the searched premises belong to accused Akashdeep Singh, Jogwinder Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Jaspal Singh, and Ram Tirath. A search raid was also conducted on the Cybercafe belonging to accused Jaspal Singh.
Various electronic items like pen drives, laptops, hard discs, and other incriminating documents have been seized during searches.
