Bangalore: Software engineer stabs wife 11 times, tries to commit suicide
The man, who has been taken into custody by the Bangalore police, reportedly tried to cut his wrist after murdering his wife.
In a gruesome incident, a Delhi-based software engineer was arrested after he stabbed his 28-year-old wife who was working in the same company in Bangalore. The victim's body bore at least 11 stab wounds, said the Bangalore police, who have arrested the alleged killer — Sanjay.
In what the police claim to be a pre-meditated murder, Sanjay boarded a flight from Delhi to reach Bangalore, where Ruchi Khurana lived along with their 3-year-old daughter.
On reaching the wife's house, Sanjay picked up an altercation with her, only to stab her later. Sources said, Sanjay would routinely demand money from Ruchi. But when she began refusing, he seemed to have struck her down in a planned attack.
