Nirankari chief Baba Hardev Singh dies in an accident in Canada
Sant Nirankari Movement was started by Baba Buta Singh in early 19th century.
Nirankari sect head Baba Hardev Singh passed away on Friday in Montreal, Canada in a car accident.

Baba Hardev Singh (62) was the chief priest of Sant Nirankari mission. Sikhism believes in following scriptures, but followers of Sant Nirankari movement which split from Sikhism in 1929 hold a living guru as their leader. He took over as the head of the mission after the assassination of his father and provided guidance to the disciples.
The mission is a global organisation with 2000 centres across the world.
