The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has increased vigilance for suspected members of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). A senior officer with the ATS told PTI here today that vigilance has been intensified over SIMI activists in the Ujjain and Indore divisions of the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.These divisions, known to be the centre of activities for the SIMI, was said to be linked with terrorist incidents in the country during the last few years.He said that strict vigil would also be kept for the three-day meeting of the BJP National Executive Council beginning here tomorrow.
