The Bihar Prisons department today dismissed an assistant jail superintendent from service for alleged rude behaviour with superiors and nexus with inmates.

Director General of Prisons Anand Kishore announced in a statement here dismissal of assistant jail superintendent Sudhir Kumar.

Sudhir Kumar, former assistant jail superintendent of Rosera, is under suspension since November last year for alleged rude behaviour with jail superintendent and also using uncharitable words against him.

He was also charged with creating problems for inmates and having nexus with dreaded under trials of the Rosera jail.

A departmental inquiry was set up against him and the probe report found the charges true on the basis of which the DG Prisons today announced his dismissal from the service.
