Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was reportedly hospitalised on Saturday after he complained of pain in his stomach and abdomen. Guwahati Medical College Hospital, where Gogoi is admitted, said he was out of danger.

According to a report in The Indian Express, Gogoi was admitted to the hospital at around 8 pm on SAturday and was put under observation, however his condition is now stable. 

Gogoi, 82, has been the Assam chief minister for three consecutive terms since 2001. Assam recently finished conducting polls for the Assembly elections.
