Arvind Kejriwal met family members of Pathankot martyrs in Gurdaspur. He promised to give a cheque of Rs 2 Lakhs to the martyrs' family.

The Delhi Chief Minister had said that he would visit Pathankot and Gurdaspur to meet the families of the security personnel who were killed in Pathankot terror attack.

Kejriwal met Fateh Singh and taxi driver Ikagar Singh laid down their lives fighting terrorists who had attacked the Pathankot Air Base on the night of January 1. 

Taxi driver Ikagar Singh was killed by terrorists, a day before they struck the air force base. Ikagar Singh was native of Bhagwal village in Pathankot.

Seven military personnel were martyred and another 20 injured when six terrorists crossed the border and launched a massive attack on the Pathankot Air Force base in the early hours of January 2.
