In the previous assembly elections, AAP had won 67 out of 70 seats securing an absolute majority in the Delhi assembly in 2015. Assembly elections in Delhi are slated for February next year.
Kishore is currently the vice president of Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) in Bihar, an ally of the BJP at the state as well as Centre.
Kishore had designed election campaigns for two major national parties, Congress and BJP, in the past. He had designed Narendra Modi's election campaign in Lok Sabha polls which took place in 2014 and was also roped in by the Congress for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections which ended in the party's defeat at the hands of the BJP.
He was also responsible for massive victories secured by the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh in 2019, and Capt. Amarinder Singh's victory in 2017 in Punjab.
He is also currently working with the TMC in West Bengal ahead of the state's assembly elections which is scheduled to take place in 2021.
