Arms cache recovered from militant hideout in Kishtwar

Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition from it in forest area of Kishtwar district, police officials said in Jammu today.

On a tip off, a joint column of Rashtriya Rifles troops and police busted the hideout of Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit in Lidrari-Pyas forest area, about 260km from Jammu, in Kishtwar district last evening, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 843 LMG rounds, 111 AK rounds, two AK magazines, 13 grenades among other things.
